The new Diesel is offered in one toro size that measures 6 inches long by 52 ring gauge and comes in a 10-count box. In between its dark, connecticut broadleaf wrapper and Nicaraguan filler is a binder leaf of Nicaraguan tobacco purportedly aged in charred, American oak barrels that once held Rabbit Hole Founder’s Collection Boxgrail Rye Whiskey. According to Justin Andrews of brand owner Scandinavian Tobacco Group, the purpose of the barrel-aging is to impart some of the barrel’s characteristics such as vanilla, caramel and black pepper.
